Manchester United qualified for the knockout phase of the Champions League with a thumping 5-0 win at Bayer Leverkusen. Valencia 22’, Spahic o.g. 30, Evans 65’, Smalling 77’, Nani 88’ scored for MU.

In another match of Group A Shakhtar Donetsk stunned Real Sociedad 4-0. Luiz Adriano 37’ Alex Teixeira 48’ Costa 68’, 87’ scored for the Ukrainians.

Bayern Munich beat CSKA Moscow 3-1 in Russia to extend their winning Champions League streak to a record 10 matches. Honda scored a penalty for the Russian Army Club on the 61st minute, while Bayern Munich got three by Robben 17’, Goetze 56’ and Mueller pen. 65’.
